Before this Border-Gavaskar Trophy series started, there were plenty of questions swirling around, not about the abilities and states of both teams but whether or not this was bigger than the Ashes! It certainly doesn't have the history of the famous Australia v England clashes but this series is certainly delivering in of entertainment.
So far, we have seen India cruise home in Perth to win by 295 runs before Australia bounced back immediately with a 10-wicket victory of their own and continued their dominance in pink-ball Tests.
So, what can we expect in Brisbane. Which version of either team will turn up? And will we finally see a Test in this series which is still up for grabs going into the fourth innings of the match?

After getting themselves well and truly thrashed in Perth, Australia found their happy place again in Adelaide against India last week, but they are expected to revert back to the XI who suffered the heavy defeat for this Test with right-arm fast medium bowler Josh Hazlewood back from injury and set to replace Scott Boland once again.
It was Travis Head, so often the saviour with the bat for Australia across all formats over the past 18 months who delivered for the hosts in Adelaide and his 140 in the first innings was enough to secure him the Player of the Match Award. Australia will be hoping for more of the same in this game and also from Marnus Labushagne who came back into form with a patient 64.
With the ball, Australia's pacers are all in fine form but they will be looking for more from Nathan Lyon who has struggled against India's strong players of spin so far in the series.

No half-centuries in either innings and number seven, all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who only made his Test debut the previous week, top scoring in both innings, was certainly not the plan against the pink ball. Perhaps with all of that, it was no surprise to see India so heavily beaten.
Up in Brisbane for this game, things have to improve or the tourists face the possibility of being overwhelmed by Australia's pace attack. KL Rahul has looked good in the series but is yet to get a significant score for his troubles and Rishabh Pant has played with freedom in each of his innings. The experienced duo of Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma both failed in Adelaide and need to step up in this Test.
With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah continues to set the levels but he will be looking for spinner Ravichandran Ashwin to also produce the goods and provide another wicket taking option.

According to the forecast, there is a chance of showers across all five days of this Test and there will also be rain on the day proceeding the match. When it's not raining, it will be humid with the temperature up at 25 degrees on most days.
The Gabba is a famous and historic cricket venue in Australia which has seen some epic matches over the years. Famous for being a good batting track, it often aids the spinners with bounce early on as well as turn as the game progresses. Movement through the air is more likely than seam movement off the pitch.
Although the overhead conditions are expected to favour the bowlers over the batters throughout the five days in Brisbane, we predict that both sides will want to bat first and field in the fourth innings so will choose to bat if they win the toss.
This series has delivered two very entertaining matches and we expect this one to be similar. So far, it is the bowlers who have had the upper-hand and it may well come down to which of the in-form batters is able to produce a match-winning innings. We expect a close contest but are backing India to retake the lead!
