IND-W vs RSAW Live Prediction

2024-07-05 20:55:30

India to score over 93.5 runs in the first 10 overs @ 1.80 (Stake)

Chasing down a huge total of 190 runs, India will look to get to a comfortable position in the run-chase and with the dew coming down and the ball skidding onto the bat nicely, we back India to score over 93.5 runs at the 10 over mark.

2024-07-05 20:52:28

India to score over 55.5 runs in the first 6 overs @ 1.80 (Stake)

India are off to a pretty good start scoring courtesy of some good batting from their openers. The pitch has eased out a bit and the ball is coming onto the bat nicely, with both aggressive batters out in the middle, we are predicting a high scoring powerplay and the score to be over 55.5 runs.

2024-07-05 20:03:34

South Africa to score over 174.5 runs in 20 overs @ 1.85 (Stake)

South Africa have certainly picked up the pace and both batters are on a role at the moment smashing the Indian bowlers with ease and the run rate has been over 10 runs per over since the drinks break. With 9 wickets left in the bank and two set batters, South Africa are likely to cross the 175 runs mark and we back them to score over 174.5 runs in 20 overs.

2024-07-05 19:47:43

South Africa to score over 114.5 runs in 15 overs @ 1.80 (Stake)

At the 10 over mark, South Africa are in a good position scoring at 7.8 runs per over. Kapp and Tazmin Brits have stabilised the innings and both batters are looking in good touch. With the way they are striking at the moment, we predict the score to be over 114.5 runs at the end of 15 overs.

After whitewashing South Africa Women in the ODI series followed by a record-breaking 10-wicket win in a one-off Test, India Women are all geared to take on the visitors in the shortest game format. The first T20I of the three-match series will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 5th July from 7 pm onwards. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will be all charged up to give another whitewash to SA Women.

India Women started the season with a 3-0 victory in the ODI series against the visitors. Smriti Mandhana topped the run chart with 343 runs at an average of 114.33. She scored two centuries and a half-century in the series. SA Women’s Laura Wolvadaart ended the series with 200 runs at an average of 100. Indian spinner Deepti Sharma was the leading wicket-taker of the series with 6 wickets at an economy of 3.57 - the lowest amongst all.

After the ODI series, both teams played a one-off test. India Women openers Mandana (149) & Shafali Verma (205) scored a record-breaking partnership of 292 in the first innings. India Women declared the innings on 603 for the loss of 6 wickets. Spinner Sneh Rana dismantled the SA batting lineup by claiming 8 wickets. Following on by 337 runs in the second innings, SA skipper Wolvadaart scored a century (122) with partner Sunne Luss (109). India Women chased the target of 36 without losing a wicket to keep the unbeaten record alive.

The T20I series will be a comeback option for SA women. When both teams played the format last time back in 2023, SA Women won the game by 5 wickets following Chloe Tryon’s 57 off 32 balls in the middle-order. Though India Women have won the ODI & Test series, T20I series will be a tough test for them.

Weather Conditions

The weather will be cloudy and humid. Thunderstorms are predicted on 5th July The temperatures will be between 27°C and 34°C. It’s a slightly windy day with a 100% chance of rain.

Traditionally, the pitch is known for being slow and low, offering significant assistance to spinners as the game progresses. The surface tends to dry out quickly, creating cracks that aid spin bowlers in extracting turn and bounce. Batsmen may find it easier to score during the initial phase of the game when the pitch is fresh and hard.

The first T20I of the three-match series will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 5th July from 7 pm onwards. The venue has a capacity of 50000 spectators. The venue is home to Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. The ground was established in 1916, making it the oldest venue in India which is in continuous use.

Toss: To Bat

The first innings has been the most productive with bat at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The average first innings score is 150. In fact, in 6 games played here, 5 have been won by the team batting first.  The team winning the toss should bat first here.

There is a high chance that the rain will wash the game. But in case, we get a full game, the hosts are a mile ahead of the visitors. The unbeaten run in ODI & Test series has given them a boost. Besides this, Mandhana is in form. After guiding her team to win the maiden IPL, she has been terrific with the bat in all formats.

SA has just two wins in the last 6 T20Is. If India manages to send Wolvadaart back to the pavilion early, it will be a one-sided affair.

We predict that India Women will defeat South Africa Women.
