Chasing 101 for victory against Samp Army in Match 8, UP Nawabs will have been disappointed with their batting efforts which saw them come up 3 runs short, particularly as they lost only 3 wickets along the way. This will have been all the more frustrating after Samp Army posted 100 whilst losing 7 wickets!

Captain Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit an impressive 60 not out from 32 balls and if anything he will have to go quicker when he bats in this fixture on Sunday. With Dawid Malan and Najibullah Zadran for company in the top three and neither having a strike-rate of 116, the pressure will be on the skipper to provide the momentum early on.

With the ball, the pace pair of Binura Fernando and Tymal Mills come into this game after exceptional T10 figures of 2/9 and 2/11 respectively on Saturday!

Northern Warriors Preview

In spite of a first ball duck for skipper Colin Munro, Northern Warriors made light work of their chase to 100 against The Chennai Braves with the West Indian pair of Brandon King and Johnson Charles doing the majority of the damage.

Another failure in this game from Munro may see Charles pushed up into the opening position but dont be surprised if a player with the white-ball experience of Munro bounces back immediately with a big score. Azmatullah Omarzai also impressed with quick runs but there is plenty still to come from this Warriors side with the bat.

With the ball in hand, there is some real skilful players as well as pace. Trent Boult is capable of picking up wickets with the new ball in any format of the game and Saqib Mahmood has carried his fine international form into this tournament.
