Gujarat Titans Preview

Despite starting the season with a loss against Punjab Kings at home, Gujarat Titans rose in the points table ranking with four consecutive wins before a loss in the sixth game against Lucknow Supergiants. It was the high-scoring game against Punjab Kings, where Gujarat Titans almost chased down a huge total of 244. They fell short eventually by just 11 runs. Sai Kishore was the best bowler with 3 wickets for 30 runs in that game.

In the next four games, Gujarat Titans ed four consecutive and comprehensive victories against Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals. With this win, Delhi Capitals are currently at the top of the table with 10 points and a superb net run rate of +0.744.

It is perhaps the way Delhi Capitals started this season that set the tone for a superb IPL so far in 2025. In the opening game against LSG, DC looked down and out, chasing a big total of 210. At one point, they were 6 down for 113 runs in the 13th over, and the win looked a distant probability. KL Rahul was the man of the match against CSK for his innings of 77 off just 51 balls that helped defeat CSK by 25 runs.
