New York Strikers beat Team Abu Dhabi by 24 runs
Considering how Team Abu Dhabi has been playing so far, New York Strikers will take these two points against the local team for granted . But will that be enough motivation for Team AD to turn up tomorrow evening and play their best cricket? To knock over the table toppers would be a great way to move off the bottom of the table as well. But do they have it in them?
We are backing New York Strikers to win this match!

The wretched campaign for Team AD is likely to continue, as New York Strikers get ready to take advantage of the ravaged local team who’ve dropped all the 5 matches they’ve played up to this point.
New York Strikers, the form team in this T10 league, may pile on the misery for Team Abu Dhabi who’re at the foot of the table. They say T10 league is very unpredictable, but Team AD have made it easy for anyone guessing. Their performance has been appalling so far, and they’ve hardly shown any intent to compete that it’s safe to say they’ll lose the match irrespective of the opponent they run into.
Except for the first match where they ran the Samp Army close, it has been a meek surrender from the men in the Team AD camp.
Every team they faced up to has crushed them, and they’re likely to be rolled over on Tuesday by an in-form New York Strikers.

New York Strikers is in imperious form at the moment, after pummelling another serious threat Delhi Bulls to submission in their last match. Having scrambled to 98/4 in their quota of 10 overs, they made batting look far more difficult, skittling out Delhi Bulls batsmen for a paltry 31 inside 10 overs.
Being able to defend 98 and come out on top with such a huge margin will give their team a huge morale boost going in to the business end of the tournament. Chamika Karunaratne was the wrecker in chief as usual, picking up 3 wickets in 2 overs. West Indian spinner Akeal Hosein came to form with a 3-for and bowled beautifully to the top order batsmen. They’ve done really well to be at the top of the tree after their 22-run defeat in the opener against Deccan Gladiators.
They’ve got three more matches to go and two them are against the bottom dwellers Team AD, and Chennai Braves, so they’ll be looking to crush these opponents and secure a place in the top 2 before getting down to action against a serious challenger in the Morrisville Samp Army.

Team Abu Dhabi’s nightmares go from bad to worse, as they were trounced by Bangla Tigers in front of their fans. They got off to the worst possible start they could imagine, losing two wickets in the very first over of their batting innings. An uneventful over followed with Alex Hales and in-form batter du Plooy managing to survive somehow.
Both of them succumbed in the overs to follow, leaving the middle order exposed. It was a procession from and to the middle thereafter and suddenly the scoreboard read 46/9 from 9 overs. They were bundled out for 66 in the last over, in which Pakistani cricketer Rumman Raees hit out three consecutive sixes off Carlos Brathwaite.
66 was never going to be a fighting total anyway, but Team AD bowlers hardly made Bangla Tigers work for their runs, allowing them to coast home inside 5 overs with 9 wickets to spare. Proper massacre in T10 . This has been that kind of a tournament for Team Abu Dhabi. Their campaign this year is virtually over and a win on the board will be nothing but a big morale boost for the future. But they’ve lost 8 matches on the trot now, including the last 3 from the previous edition, so they’ve to turn things around to avoid a terrible record.

The weather forecast looks good, which means we’re in for a complete game of T10 cricket with no threat of rain. Given this is the second game on the strip, the ball may not quite come on to the bat so expect bowlers like Chamika Karunaratne to bring out slower balls to bamboozle the batsmen.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium will play host to this exciting match between the local team and the hot favourites and challengers for this year’s trophy, New York Strikers.
New York Strikers will no doubt choose to field first if the coin toss works out in their favour. As a team, they've always liked to chase down totals, and it’ll be no different this time.
New York Strikers have a real chance to win this match. In fact, it is theirs to lose. Yes, it’s a big statement to say before a ball has been bowled. But Team AD are down and out, and it looks highly unlikely that their players will step up and turn the corner.
